Vampire Joe McCarthy's Blog

Gentle readers, please forgive my lack of posting. I've been a bit "under the weather," as they say, ever since finding out that the American people have waved the white flag of surrender(also known as the French flag, ha ho!) and invited the Islamonazimmigrants free reign to come over and pillage the country like a bunch of Vikings (or the New York Times editorial board, ho ha!) come January.

These past few weeks have not been kind for myself and other fellow travelers. Having finally reached an acceptable level of sobriety, I found something that has lifted my spirits higher than a Clinton at a college party.

I'm talking of course about Orson Scott Card's new book Empire (Amazon link).

Now I'm not normally a reader, but I'm definitely going to make an exception for this. Just look at the description:

When the president and vice-president are killed by domestic terrorists (of unknown political identity), a radical leftist army calling itself the Progressive Restoration takes over New York City and declares itself the rightful government of the United States. Now I haven't actually read any passages yet, but Empire definitely gets the Vampire Joe McCarthy Seal of Approval for Novel of the Year for the next five years. You owe it to yourselves to purchase and read this book.
